Information and Current Entries for the 2024 Club Competitions at Ulster Transport BC

All information about the 2024 Club Competitions at Ulster Transport Bowling Club, 16 Lynda Avenue, Jordanstown, County Antrim BT37 0NX as well as a full list of entries will be shown below.

The article will be updated with any changes to information or entries for all events.

Live Draw

The Live Draw will take place at Ulster Transport Bowling Club on Thursday 2nd May at 7pm.

The pairs in the Open Pairs and Mixed Pairs Competitions will be drawn before the draw for all competitions.

Playing Cards will be used for the draw - one card will be picked in each competition for every player/pair to identify the matches and which round they will be played in.

Cards will be drawn for Players/Pairs in first name alphabetical order (the same order in the list of entries).

Two members of the club who are not in a competition will be asked to make the draw for that competition.

Any player in a competition may attend the draw and, if they wish, pick their card in one or more competitions instead of the two invited members (please let me know BEFORE THE DRAW if you wish to do this).

Competition Days

Players may arrange any date for matches (before the last date in each round) if the green is available and special 'Competition Days' will also be allocated throughout the season with the green reseved for competition matches only on those dates.

Challenge Cup (Novice Singles)

Challenge Cup will be used as the name for the Novice Singles from now on with the same entry criteria:

Ladies - Only players who have NOT won the Challenge Cup may enter the event.
Men - Only players who have NOT won a UTBC Club Competition may enter the event.
