The Ulster Transport V1 team saw their title hopes fade away after a shock defeat by two shots at home to Larne, who have not won away from home for over two months.

The Veterans 1 team are now 13 points behind leaders Ballymena and although the next game is against bottom club Falls, the last two matches are against the top two sides and it will be difficult to get the maximum points required from all games for an outside chance of the title.

There were some good performances in the match but it was always a close game overall and with everything all square playing the last end, fortune favoured the Larne side who scraped over the line by two shots.
It was a 'bad day at the office' but there is a good chance to pick up maximum points at Falls next Monday and move on from this result.
