The Ulster Transport Midweek 2 team made the long journey away to Owenbeg and although the outcome was only one point, it was another useful competitive exercise for the new players which will be of great benefit in future seasons.

Upcoming Matches and NIPGL Midweek Division 2 Table
The match against league leaders Ards at home will be a tough challenge (date for the rearranged fixture to be agreed) and although Forth River should be an easier contest, Shaftesbury away in the last game of the season will be a battle with the green as it is not in good condition.

Result Card
A difficult, heavy green (Owenbeg only started up again three years ago after a long gap) caused problems for players on both teams and the only success was for Linda Brown, whose rink played well as she guided them to victory.

Player Team Statistics
The Midweek 2 team is a perfect place to give new players experience and almost 20 of the 31 players used this season have benefited from this policy.
It has been a very effective process for everyone as the league is not as strong as Division 1 and the team should finish the season in the middle of the table.

Next League Match
The Ulster Transport 2 team have a strong home record and are favourites to win the match against Forth River, who have struggled to find any form in their away games.
