Ulster Transport Bowling Club have three teams in action for the first time in the Northern Ireland Private Greens Leagues this season with the newly promoted A team at home to Larne B in Division 2, the B team away to Cavehill in Division 4 and the new C team starting their league campaign in Divison 5 away to Balmoral.

Player Pool and New Teams

The player pool has increased by over 40 in the last two seasons (a reflection of the overall growth in membership) and a new C team was entered in the NIPGL for the Saturday Leagues and a second team for the Midweek Leagues in the 2023 season.

All Teams, Any Player

All players have the option to choose to be considered for selection for any team in the club, with male and female players in the player pools for all UTBC teams in the NIPGL and NIWPGL.

Green

The club appointed a new greenkeeper in August 2022 and the tremendous work by Jordan throughout the winter has produced an excellent playing surface that will maintain the club's reputation as having one of the best bowling greens in the country.
