Upcoming Matches and NIPGL Division 2 Table
There are three tough matches left for the Ulster Transport A team, away to Falls (2nd), Old Bleach (5th) and home to Pickie (4th) in the last game of the season.
It is a very crowded race between five teams for the title and promotion with multiple games between the sides on the run in, so the same level of performance and three wins are required to get the desired outcome at the end of the season.
- Falls: UTBC (H), Hilden (A), Old Bleach (H)
- Dunbarton: Pickie (H), Larne (A), Ballywalter (H)
- Pickie: Dunbarton (A), Ewarts (H), UTBC (A)
- Old Bleach: Ewarts (A), UTBC (H), Falls (A)
Result Card
It was the same team that won the semi final against Dunbarton B on Saturday and they look a very well balanced side, with another excellent performance from all the players, keeping concentration right to the end for the first 7 point victory of the season.
Player Team Statistics
All teams need four good front end combinations as well as four good back end combinations that mix/work well together to achieve the most consistent outcomes throughout the season.
The new arrivals did not look out of place on Saturday or Tuesday in a very balanced team that performed well, especially when under pressure, to get the required results on both days.
Next League Match
Falls are a strong side and have not lost at home this season, making them favourites due to the mixed Ulster Transport away form.
However the very recent top class performances in league and cup give Ulster Transport every chance of going to Falls and coming away with a win to stay ahead of the other teams in the title/promotion race.
