Ulster Transport A were unable to recover from a bad start away at Dunbarton and lost by ten shots, but did pick up an important two points to stay in a strong position in the race for promotion and league title.

THe IBA Intermediate Cup Semi-Final on Saturday 12th August 2023 at home to Dunbarton B is the next match for the A Team, followed by a Tuesday night league game at home to Ewarts and then two tough away fixtures against the current top 2 teams, Falls and Old Bleach.
Old Bleach also play Falls as well as Dunbarton in the closing matches, so it will be battle down to the wire and the team that can put in the most solid, consistent, winning performances over the remaining four games will come out on top.

Joel Shannon's rink 'steadied the ship' after a difficult start to their game but were unable to close the gap by more than two shots and with the other three rinks in very tight, tough games, it was still a useful two points in the closing stages of the season.
